  1. How many weddings have you shot as the lead cinematographer?

    1. 40+

  2. Do you shoot with cinema primes or kit zooms?

    1. Both. I utilize a combo of both kinds of lenses depending on which part of the day we are shooting. The shorter primes come in handy for portrait session, close up details, beautiful landscapes. The longer kit lenses come in handy for filming the ceremony and reception, so we as videographers are not standing directly in everyone’s face during these important moments of the day. 

  3. What audio do you implement?

    1. I use a combination of wireless lavalieres, a H5N zoom audio recorder (which hooks up to the DJ system) and a small microphone the size of a stick of gum that can pin onto a microphone during speeches/toasts. 

  4. What is your color grading workflow?

    1. I like to use a more true to color look. My goal in Adobe Premiere is to make everything look alike , real, but not discolored. I like a unified, true to color look, so I color correct using Lumetri in Premiere.

  5. Do you license the music in your films?

    1. I utilize Music Bed’s large collection of royalty free music and license the individual tracks I use in my videos.

  6. What's the turnaround time for the final film, and what happens if you go over?

    1. Turn around time is 2 months.

  7. Who is on the crew besides you?

    1. All of my packages have a second shooter. I always have a second shooter, and never work alone.

  8. What happens if you are sick or injured on the wedding day?

    1. If I get sick, my second shooter will step up to be the main shooter, and either my husband or another one of my second shooters will step in to be the assistant.

  9. How many rounds of revisions are included, and what does an additional round cost?

    1. As long as changes remain realistic and doable, I can continue to make revisions for as long as the couple needs. Over 5 rounds of revisions, I would probably consider starting to change for any additional changes beyond that point.
